Autorecovery message.

Hi,
I have a doc that I'm opening in Word 2000 & it keeps
giving me the following messages: 'You can not save while
the file is in use by another process. Try saving the
file with a new name. (C:\...\AutoRecovery save of new...)
I click OK on this message, then the following is
displayed:
'Saving the AutoRecovery file is postponed
for "<<Filename>>" '
I click OK on this & it closes, but saving the file with
a new name does not resolve this problem.Does anyone know
why this is happening? I am not sure, but there is a good
chance this doc was originally created in Word 97.
