autorecovery postponed- SBE

I recently tried to upgrade from Office XP to Small Business Edition XP. So
far, I think this new program is a POS. Besides having to do a complete
install rather than an upgrade, I'm having problems with Word and Excel
working right. The latest error message that I'm getting when working on a
document is "Autorecovery for this document is postponed."

I have not had any luck with the Microsoft engineers helping me with this
problem, but need to get it fixed so that I can reliably use this program.
(I really would prefer not to go back to Office XP because I need the Word
2003 program rather than Word 2002). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Small Business Edition XP would not be an upgrade. From the context, this is
Office 2003 SBE?

The box says Office Small Business Edition 2003, Upgrade -- This software
will install only if you are a licensed user of a previous Microsoft Office
product. I am also getting lots of error messages that something needs to
debug, but I'm not sure the exact error message, and I don't have a debugging
program.

Your help is appreciated.
