AutoReply

Hi
I have the following issue.
We need to make autoreplys to some e-mailaddresses within a company.
And the users themselfs should not be able to remove this autoreply.
So we put alternative recipient for all those mailboxes to one and the same
mailbox.
When this was done the server forwarded all their mails to the new account.
On the new Account we sat up an Autoreply using 3 different templates
depending on the User that the mail was sent to.
We have come to terms with that we need a client based rule and have
dedicated one pc to be turned on all the time.
The problem that we now have is that the Outlook client 2003 is only
processing the rule once per SMTP address.
This means that if we have an user that sends an e-mail to several of those
people.He/she will only get an Autoreply on the first mail.
This can of course be solved by restarting the outlook client.
But since this is a something that you would wanna do, Is there any way of
getting Outlook not to keep track of which SMTP addresses that has been
processed.? or Deleting the list automatically?

We have also tried creating a server based rule without any luck we tried
using the Outlook2003 and we followed the following article
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=291956
But its not processing any mails.

Id appreciate your input on this.
Thank
Jan

To bypass Outlook's limitation on replying only once, you would need to do
one of the following:

a) Use a third-party Outlook autoreply tool. See
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/auto.htm
b) Write VBA code to manage the replies.
c) Write an Exchange event sink to let the server handle the replies.
