Autorun.inf and splash screen

Stever

Hello!
I'm creating an autorun CDROM with the PPT Viewer 2003.
I've created a AUTORUN.INF file with the contents of:

[autorun]
open = pptview.exe present\Myfilename.pps
icon = pptview.exe

If I don't want the Viewer's splash screen, where do I
insert the /S command line switch? I've guessed at
various places, but can't get it to work.

Thanks in advance!

Stever:
Sonia just posted the solution for someone else. As she said:

<path>pptview.exe /s <path>yourfile.pps will do the trick. See also,

Yes, I did read Sonia's posting. I was having trouble
because I cross referenced Sonia's posting with Microsoft
Knowledge Base Article - 830040. The MSKB article shows
the use of capital letters for the switches. Apparently
you need to use lowercase as Sonia stated. Sorry for the
trouble.

Thanks for the help, it seems to work now!

Glad to hear you got it working. Good point about the case sensitivity...
Wonder what we can do to get the KB article updated to show small
letters.... Calling John L!!!
