Situation summary
Two terminal servers running 2003
Office 2003 Std
Roaming profiles enabled
Problem
If a user sets up auto signatures within outlook
(situation occurs whether word is used to edit messages
or not) when they log off one terminal server and log
onto the other the signature for new messages changes to
<none>
However in the drop down list of signatures, is the
signature which has previously been set up.
Looking in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Signatures three files exist.
This may be a red herring but I can see the following
registry setting when the auto signature is working
correctly but when it isn't this value is missing. (Also
looking in ntuser.dat of the roaming profile this setting
would appear to be missing)
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging
Subsystem\Profiles\Default Outlook
Profile\9375CFF0413111d3B88A00104B2A6676\00000001]
"New
Signature"=hex:54,00,65,00,73,00,74,00,55,00,73,00,65,00,7
2,00,00,00
Thanks for any help
