The alternative is that you have saved the formatted AutoText when Track
Changes has been enabled. Try the following test. Open a blank document and
save it as test.dot. Make sure that Track Changes is inactive. Now create an
AutoText entry and save it to the new template. Close the template. Close
Word.
Reopen Word and use File, New to open a new document from test.dot. Enter
the AutoText> If it works now, it probably means that you are going to have
to recreate all the current AutoText that opens up in Track Change mode.
