Autotext & Autocorrect in Office 07

I had to reinstall my Office 07 due to a hard disk failure and now find that
the AutoText & AutoCorrect features do not work. How can I activate these? I
do have an old Windows backup file, but am unsure of the procedure for
restoring these features.
