Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have seen a few posts on this topic, but the responses do not answer the question (unless it was answered a long time ago, and I have simply not researched far enough back in time.) How does one activate the display of the page number and date in the footer of PowerPoint charts?

=== I have found a workaround. Not quite what I had wanted, but it works. Thanks to Jeff Chapman and RSWC90.

The subject of your message is unclear -- there is no AutoText feature or
buttons in PowerPoint. Also, I'm not sure what kind of "workaround" you're
settling for or exactly what you're looking to do, but PowerPoint *charts*
do not have Headers or Footers to begin with. Charts are graphic objects
added to a slide. If you'll provide a complete description of your objective
perhaps there is a solution or suggestion to be offered.
