Autotext has disappeared

User had problem opening Word 2000 a couple of times. The In-House guy ran a
Detect & Repair in Word. The user has now lost all her autotext (3 years
accumulated).

Is this irreversible ?

Hi Gary,

It depends on whether or not the Normal.dot was replaced.

It could be Detect and Repair modified the User Templates path found
under Tools/Options/File Locations and Word created a new Normal.dot.

Search for all occurrences of Normal.dot and see if you find more than
one.
