AutoText, Menus, and/or Drop-down lists

Your help is appreciated:

I am a beginner using AutoText (and am not 100% sure that
this is even what I need). Can I create a toolbar (or
drop-down list) that contains a list of multiple sentences
in which I can choose only one of the sentences and have
it insert into my document? If so, can you explain it as
basic as is possible. I've been trying with WORD help but
I can't figure it out. I won't understand programming
language. Thanks again.
