AUTOTEXT NOT WORKING

All my autotext entries appear to have disappeared. When I go into Autotext
the "Look in" box shows all active templates and although the autotext
entries are all there nothing is shown in the preview box. When I change to
"Look in" box to normal (global) templates the first entry shows the preview
(the bit I want to insert into my document). However, I cant arrow down to
any other entries. When I type into my document an autotext entry and click
F3 or autotext icon I just get the hour-glass and have to alt ctrl delete to
get out as programme not responding (unfortunately doesnt show would you like
to send error report)

Do you still experience the problem if you start in Office Safe Mode
(holding down the Ctrl key while Word loads)? If not, look for problems with
Normal.dot, the Registry, or an add-in (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm for more). Another
possibility is a problem with the printer driver.
