autotext

is there a way with word 2002 to have the program fill in
a 4 line paragraph depending on a key word using the auto
text feature? Basically the key word would be a "cc: <bank
name>", and the auto text would fill in the bank's
address. Right now, we have this set up on 2 different
word docs, and everytime we need to add all that, we
manually cut and paste... any shortcuts to simplify this???

Thanks!

John.

Sure. In one of your letters, select the block of text
you want and autotext entry for, select it, press F3.
Word will asked you to name the entry. By defualt it will
be the first line. Select OK.

For example:

cc: Chase Bank
Suite 9A
123 North Bridge Dr.
Boston, MA 12345

Select everything including the cc:
Press F3
Word will ask you to name the AutoText entry and by
defualt the name will be cc: Chase Bank
Select OK

You'll want to give each entry a name that has a unique combination for the
first four letters so that you will get the AutoComplete tip.
