AutoUpdater Problem

I've had Mac Office 2004 for about 1 month and have yet to get the AutoUpdater to work. It appears to invoke correctly, indicates there is an update to install, allows me to enter my system password, but when I click "install", I get a message that reads, "The connection to the upgrade server was interrupted". I use a variety of web services including the Mac updater, and FileZilla FTP for website development.

I'm sure its something minor. Searched the web for the error message but see nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Try downloading the updates directly from Microsoft and then running
them manually on your machine. You can find them here
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.mspx>.

Select "About..." from any of the Office application menus (Entourage
menu, Word menu, etc.). If you're running a version of Office before
11.3 5 then download 11.3 5 first. It's a combo updater that rolls all
prior updates into it. Then apply each successive update until you reach
11.3.9.

Hope this helps!
