AutoWordSelect in Combo Box Troubles

Hi,

When i start typing in a combo box the autowordselect function move
the text to the left outside of the combo box and the user's view. I
other words, if i type "1005k" to get to the correct selection, onl
"k" and the auto generated text are visible in the field. 1005 hav
been forced out the left portion of the box. I have played with any o
the combox's properties that seem remotely relevant to no avail. Thank
for any and all help
