Availability of Fonts

After I installed Tiger I find that Office (Word) does not see all the
fonts that are at the root level of the hard drive. Is there a way to
force Office to reinititalize or force office to see all the fonts in
the system?

Can you please tell me the names of the fonts that are missing from word .
Are these fonts available in excel and PPT ?
new fonts are detected when the office apps are restarted. so to see any
additional fonts in office apps, all that is needed is quit and relaunch .
