Available fonts pruned in current MS Word

I used to have an older version of MS Office Professional which included a
wide range of fonts.

When I installed a newer version (but Home edition on Professional) on a
replacement PC, I found I'd lost a lot of the fonts I was used to using.

Buying extra software seems an expensive way to sort things and unsure how
well it would integrate?

The number of fonts in a MS Office installation increases considerably if the Office edition includes MS Office Publisher.

There isn't a 'Home' edition of MS Office. There is a Home use license for corporate users to provide MS Office (almost any edition)
to their employees.
