Available methods to provide to remote clients

HI

I am running exchange 2000. My company has grown exponentially in the recent
years. We have office in almost ten states. I would all of them to have email
from the same domain. I don't want to spend money on VPN or frame circuits
just to provide emails.

Kindly suggest me the best and the most effective way to deliver emails to
these remote people from my exchange server over the internet.

I am even ready to upgrade my exchange to 2003 if needed.

In yahoo, hotmail you can setup reminders and have them send reminers to
your cell phone as text message. Is it possible in exchange 2000 or 2003 or
is there a sofware available to make this work in exchange 2000 or 2003.

thank you

KPM

How much money would you have to spend on VPN? A linksys router for under
$100 has vpn capability. And, it's really a no-brainer to set up, as long as
they have high speed internet.

With your existing infrastructure, Outlook Web Access would be a good solution.

If you upgraded to Exchange 2003, Outlook 2003 using RPC over HTTP would probably work well.

You probably ought to be asking, though, in an Exchange forum, not an Outlook forum.

For reminder notification applications, see http://www.slipstick.com/addins/notify.htm or maybe http://www.slipstick.com/addins/pager.htm
