Available style sets list disapeared

In a template I was editing I somehow managed to set it so that you could
not change the style set (styles group|change styles button|style set).

Somehow I have also managed to do that to my normal template (luckily I had
a back up).

Can anyone tell me how I did this and how to reverse it?

Figured this out myself in the end : In the Styles task pane, click Manage
Styles , and then click the Restrict tab.

Probably should have posted in templates section.
