Trying to figure something using the subtotaling comand.
Not working for me, obviously!!

Bascally we need worry about to colmns.

Agent ID, status
1234 Complete
1234 Complete
1234 in-complete

what can I do to average colmun be.

Well, you can only determine the average of /numbers/, not text. What
you might be able to do here is have a new column that represents
"completeness" in numerical form. Say, 0% (incomplete) and 100%
(complete), then average that.

This question is unclear - what is the average of Shane and Devenshire? Do
you want to find the percent Complete if so then a formula such as

=COUNTIF(B2:B100,"Complete")/COUNTA(B2:B100)

will do it. Then format to %.
