How can I use this template? I 'm having trouble geting to print with in the
labels. It doesn't center correctly, either. I have tried following the
margin suggestions that came with the product, but they don't work.

I'm a bit confused so bear with me for a moment. Are you talking about the
Word template or are you talking about some set of instructions that came
with the dividers?

I bought the style edge insertable plastic reference divider product 11201
from avery. I Then downloaded their template for this product into Microsoft
Word so that I could print on the label page they provided. The page that
came with the product says that you might have to change margins to get it to
print in Microsoft Word. I followed the suggestions avery gave, but it still
doesn't line up right. Also I unhid the grids on the template, and they are
rectangle tabs. I think Avery has the wrong template for the product,
because the tabs with avery 11201 are oval.

Thank you,

Try using Word's built-in template instead. See if that helps.

(You might want to make you you downloaded the right file from Avery. If you
did and they are oval, contact Avery. You might get some freebies out of the
deal. ;-) )
