Avery Label templates

Hi
Is it possible to up-date the Avery label templates in Word rather
than measuring and guessing the size for a new custom one
A friend asked me to make some labels (C8100) and i haven't got that
one.

If the label does not have an equivalent from the many hundreds pre-defined,
then you must set up a custom label format. If you are measuring, there is
no guesswork involved. You take the measurements from the ruler and apply
them. You can export the custom label from the registry if necessary (but
not between Word 2000 and 2002/3 versions).

First, though, double check the labels against others that Avery offers.
Avery has a lot of labels that are exactly the same layout but have
different numbers. The differences involve Laser vs. Inkjet, how many labels
in a package, color, etc. but not layout. Go to a big office supply store
with a sheet of the labels in hand and see if you can look at others that
are similar and get some different numbers that might work or give you a
starting place.
