Avery Labels

I am trying to create a postcard in publisher using an Avery label. Is this
possible?? I see that the page setup allows for post cards but I'm not sure
where the paper stock is supposed to come from. I have already purchased
Avery and would REALLY like to use it. Any advice?? Thanks in advance!!

What do you mean by "where the paper stock is supposed to come from"?

If you are talking about size, as long as it fits your stock, use it.

Avery makes label templates that you can access in Word. Those templates
correspond to a specific paper (i.e. Avery 8386 template uses Avery 8386
paper). I have this paper that requires specific deminsions. I called Avery
they gave me the deminsions to create a template in Publisher but when I
called Microsoft they weren't able to help me unless I paid to speak to a
tech. Do you know how to create a template with specific deminsions?

....you could have found those out by using a ruler.
but when I called Microsoft they weren't able to help me unless I paid

Yes, because Microsoft can't afford to provide free one-on-one training
to every Publisher user on how to do every tiny little task.
Do you know how to create a template with specific deminsions?

Yes. File > Page Setup > Printer and Paper
Set the paper size to the exact size of the sheet you're printing to
Then go to the Layout tab, and set the page size to Custom, and the size
of an individual label.
Then go to Multiple Copies Per Sheet, and set the top and left margins
and the horizontal and vertical gaps to those of the sheet onto which
you are going to print.

Setup your page this way
Click Custom in page setup
Width 6 inches
Height 4 inches
Click Change copies per sheet, type
1.25 side
1.25 top
zero horizontal gap
..5 vertical gap
Print a test before using your good stock.
