Avery printing problems

Hi, I sure hope someone can help me. My wife has just done all of her
recipes onto a template from Avery for their postcards (8577). Now
when we go to print nothing happens. It does the little sound saying
that it was sent but the printer never gets it. I have tried other
word documents and they print with no problem. I have even tried
printing it to a PDF and it will not do anything. PLEASE HELP!

Hi Whatever Your Name Is:

OK, some diagnostic steps:

1) When you go to the File menu and choose Print Preview, what do you see?

2) When you go to File menu and choose Print... A dialog box appears. The
top entry is "Printer".... What Printer is shown in that box? Is it the
one that is plugged in to your computer?

3) If you go to Word>Preferences>Print... And look at the section named
"Include with document" what is the setting for the checkbox named "Graphic
objects"?

4) Now select one of the words on the page. Use Format>Font and look at
the "Effects" section. What is the setting for "Hidden Text"?

These tests will reveal the four most likely candidates for the problem.
There are others, it may take a little more effort to find this problem.
