avi file does not show or play in IE7

I added an avi file to a web page using FrontPage2003. In IE7 the file does
not show and does not play. Someone else was able to play it in IE6. What
do I need to do to get it to work in IE7?

"usually" the file is too big...but hard to troubleshoot without seeing the
page.
