AVI's in Powerpoint

It seems when you use an AVI in Powerpoint, it does not incorporate
the actual file in the Powerpoint file. You have to send the AVI file
along with the Powerpoint.

Any way to get the AVI file to be part of the Powerpoint file so all you
have to email or transport is the finished .ppt file?
