Back-end Data not read - SP 3 Issue??

Running FE and BE Access 2003..App has run well
since 1999 (thru at least 3 different Access releases).

2 new Laptops were just loaded w/ Access 2003 (SP 3)...I checked
w/ IS guys, and they didn't know about the hotfix.

W/ SP 3 w/ NO hotfix..can we expect the linked Tables not
to be read?
