Back Ground Picture

Hi

I have a picture which is tiles for my back ground picture My only query is
that the picture stands out very bright and clear and makes it harder to
reader the web page and i would like to shade/fade the picture so that it
doesnt stand out as much.

Is this posible??

Your best bet is to do this in a third-party image editor like PaintShop Pro
and then re-import the newly adjusted photo back into your web and use it
for a background. There should be a number of freeware/shareware image
editors that you could get over at tucows.com that would probably do the
trick.

My thoughts exactly.

But I was trying to think of a good free image editor in case the OP didn't
have one

I have found Paint.Net which can be downloaded from http://www.getpaint.net/

This does have brightness and contrast adjustments, so one should be able to
get a reasonable result.

I use Microsoft Picture It which does a have true transparency adjustment
