back up custon dictionary

Very soon I am going to be reinstalling my computer. What I would like to be
able to do before that is to back up my custom dictionary so that I could
restore it after the computer has been reinstalled.

Does anyone know how I could do this and what I have to back up.

Any help and advice would be great.

For Word 2003, search for the file custom.dic and copy it to a safe place.
As I recall the name was the same in prior versions.
After you reinstall, replace the new custom.dic with the old file.
