Could someone please tell me how to back up my hard drive, and is it
possible to 'back up' the entire hard drive on to a cdrw? thanks

Wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is dedicated to Microsoft Access, the database program.
You'll have better luck posting to a newsgroup that deals with your operating system.

As far as backing up your entire hard drive, you really only want to back up your data
files. Whether or not you'll be able to fit them all onto a single cdrw disk depends on
the sum of the size of the data files verses the capacity of your cdrw. There is no need
to back up program files--these would need to be re-installed using your install disks in
order for the registry to be updated appropriately.

For a good backup, I'd advise using a write once only disk. A cdrw disk may not produce a
reliable back-up.
