A Baffled User
After days of trying, I have finally succeeded at getting OL 2000 to work on
my Windows Vista SP1 desktop computer. Is there a way to copy and back up on
an external hard drive the settings in the Services dialog box (under
Tools)--i.e., settings related to Internet E-mail, Outlook Address Book, and
Personal Folders--so that I can retrieve them in the future if I need to
reinstall Outlook or if something goes kerflouey?
If this is indeed possible, in what location on the Vista machine would I
have to place the file(s) thus backed up in the event of a calamity? I.e.,
where do the files need to be in order for OL to function properly?
Thanks in advance!
