Backed up Outlook 2003 from Vista - need to restore on XP system

Hi - I am having trouble opening my backup from my Vista laptop (which
crashed) onto my XP Outlook program - I am assuming that this is the problem.
If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
