I have an application, fe on local machines, be on server with a Novell
network
Users log on using the mdw-file. The application works fine most of the
time, but when a 4th user is logged on it always destroys the be mdb-file
so bad it can not be repaired.
This happens frequently once a week when the 4th person is logged on.
All machines are identical and the network system is Novell.
This is a tremendous problem and the users loose faith in the system.
Is there anythng to do, like increasing files, buffers, handles ??? in any
way.
There are about 150 new records every day, and a continous form with all a
the 150 records are constantly open almost all the time of all users.
I have a feeling that the system crashes more often in the
Novell -enironment than in a windows -environment.
