Background color question

N

Nick

I like to change the background of my documents while I write. This is
easy to do, but when I change my view to Print (from normal) the
screen color jumps back to white. How can I stop this? And make this a
default, too?

No one knows?

It seems to me that you are asking how to get a false print preview.

I don't think that Word will allow that, even though it allows a
blue-background composition view.

Some other applications allow you to cheat by setting the paper color
(but set it back before printing), but Word doesn't appear to recognize
that paper comes in any color apart from white.
