background colors

How to blend a background color. For example if I want blue at top then green
then pink and so on. But I don't want a solid line when colors change to
another color. Kind of fade out from one to the other.

I use gradieant image maker from dynamic drive but it only lets you selct
two colors for the fades but it does a nice job.
