Background disappears

I have a drawing foreground and then add a tab called "background-1" in the
same drawing file, paste an image from paint, and then on the foreground tab
use page setup to assign the background image. Eveything looks great but when
I save/close the file and then re-open it, the background image has
disappeared. The background tab is still there.

Can someone help please.

Hi naive14.

Really, copied image from Paint dissapears,
not only when pasted on background page
but also when pasted on the front page.

Please, try to choose PasteSpecial from
the Edit menu instead of simple Paste,
and point sub menu Bitmap Independent
from Device.

point sub menu other than "bitmap" will do,too.
and I have better to correct "sub menu" to
"item in the dialog".
