background in form

hi,

im new to access so im really sorry for this simple
question. i cant figured out how to make an image to be a
background in form or report instead of just changing
background color. please show me the step, thanks.

Justina,

1) Open the form in design view.
2) Display the Format tab in the form's Properties sheet.
3) Click in the Picture field and then click the ...
button.
4) Navigate to and select your picture file. BMPs and
JPGs tend to work fine. You will need to choose a
supported file type.
5) In the Picture Type field, choose "embedded"
or "linked" depending on whether you want to store the
picture inside the database or leave it external.
6) In the Picture Size field, you will need to
choose "Clip," "Stretch" or "Zoom" to control how to fit
your picture in the form. You may want to try each one to
determine which looks best on your form.
7) Choose a Picture Alignment that is appropriate for
your form.

If the picture completely fails to display, then there may
be a picture file compatibility issue. In this event, try
different picture files just to make sure the problem is
with the file.
