background info

I know I have seen a selection for this but cannot find it. How do you
print the word "draft" in background of word document? Thanks to all for
past help.

In Word 2002, go to Format | Background and click Printed Watermark,
then pick the kind of watermark you want. I don't remember if Word 2000
had this feature or not, and in older versions, you had to use the
Header/Footer command to put a watermark in the background. You might
want to search your Help menu for "watermark" for specific instructions.

In Word 2000 (I use it at work) you have to use the Header/Footer. Also, if
your printer supports it, you can embed the watermark when printing.
