Background lost in FP2000 publish

I have a published site running fine, made and published with FP98.

I upgraded to FP2000 and same site looses part of the html sentences when
published.

In both versions I can see the site Ok using File Preview in Browser.

I workaround this via manual copy of every html document from FP2000 HDisk
to Web server HDisk, but ...
