Background screen color

Hi,

In MS Word 2003 (Windows XP), I tried to change the background color of
a text box to light yellow (kind of beige). However, I accidentally
changed the background color of ALL my screens to light yellow instead,
and now can't get them back to white. It's as though the screen
brightness is turned down on my laptop screen, except it's not. Can
anyone point me toward a solution? Thanks.

That is a Windows setting, not Word. Control panel - Display - Appearance
tab
