Background Tile

Can anyone tell me how to make a background image only show once and not
tile.

If a meta, then what is the meta tag?

You have 2 options:

1. Make the background a "watermark" - it will follow as you scroll the
page.
2. Make the background big enough so that it will not tile. Of course, this
makes it a large image, which slows down the page load.
