background uneven white border

When I put a border on each of my pages, I need to offset it more on the
right side of my page than the left. I know my printer does not print to the
edges but how do I get my pages to have the same width of white space outside
my border on all four sides?

You shouldn't have to offset if you arrange the margins to be the same on both
side. If your printer's limitation is .5 on the right for example, then arrange
..5 on both sides.

Thank you for your reply, I did set the margins equal on all sides but the
right side of the border still needs to be pushed in more or the print
preview shows it cut off. So when I move it more towards the center, it shows
up but now the white space on that side is greater than on the left. I am
using the book fold from the Blank Publications menu. My orientation is
landscape.

In landscape mode the right margin will be the largest. If you were to print
portrait the bottom will be the largest margin. If you cannot reconcile the
margins, look to see if your printer is aligned properly.

You cannot set your printer margins. The margin on the last edge to come
out of the printer (bottom or right, depending on orientation) will
always be larger than the others, unless your printer supports
borderless printing. You will have to move other margins in by the same
distance in order to equalise this; you cannot "rebalance" them to have
the space from one side put on the other. The minimum margins are
absolute minima.
