Backing up all Office 2007 Data

I am trying the trial version of Office Standard 2007 and have found a virus
on my pc that I can't get rid of. It keeps locking up my computer. I want
to back up all my contacts, email (from OUtlook), appointments, etc. but
don't know the easiest and proper way to do this. I'll also need to know how
to restore this information after I reformat my hard drive, resintall the
operating system, Office etc.

Please help. I'm at my wit's end.

I suspect that when you try to reinstall the trial version, you will not be
able to. One trial period to a customer - time to pony up the money.

I understand that. I'm going to purchase the office suite. My problem is I
need to know what files (and in what directories) my data for Office 2007 is
stored. I would like to back it all up on a dvd and then when I reformat my
hard drive, resintall the operating system and the full version of Office
2007, I want to be able to restore my data. I have no clue as to what/how to
do this.

Your other data, eg docs etc would be usually stored in My Documents folder
PS It is rarely neccessary to Format/Reinstall to clear a virus, you might
get specific help on this by posting to an o/s group, or security group
