Backing up and restorning activated license

I have both office 03 and 07 running on a laptop. I have already had to
re-install (and subsequently re-activate) the software twice. I am about to
do a full format and reload of Vista Ultimate (ran the upgrade - but having
too many problems with old XP Pro installations). Is there a way to backup
and, after formatting the machine, restoring the activated licenses for these
products so I do not take the chance of it telling me I have run out of
activations?

You dont never run out of activations, you may have issues in which
activation gives a msg re previously installed, in which case you use phone
activation & explain
