Backporting to Office97

Using VS.net 2003 ATL/COM I wrote a simple addin for Word that adds a
commandbar and a button. I sink the _CommandBarButtonEvents. This works in
Office 2003. However in 97 this doesn't exist. How am I to handle button
clicks??
