backround color

I'm trying to add a colored backround to a project. I've used "Bakcround"
under "Format", and it appeared on the screen. However, the paper printed
out white. How can I print the document WITH the backround color i've
chosen.

Tools > options > print > background colors and images - be aware that this
is extremely wasteful of expensive ink, and few printers are capable of
printing to the edge of the paper. Printing on coloured paper might be a
more sensible option.

Hi, I am also trying to do the same thing with Format --> background -->
Fill effects, to get a textured coloured background. On the screen view, the
background fills the whole page, on print preview, it leaves a white border.
How can I stop this & have it print to the edge of the paper?
