i am having a problem with my word but im not quite sure of the version. on
'About Microsoft Word' it says 'Microsoft Word 2002 (10.2627.2625)' but im
not sure if this is the version number.
the problem is that if i highlight text and then press backspace, whereas
this would usually delete the text, it has the same effect as pressing the
left arrow key. also the same happens when i highlight text and attempt to
overwrite it by typing something else.
i am not sure if this is an error or if i have set this as an option by
accident and i would greatly appreciate any help.
