backup access files

Walter

This may be the wrong place to ask this. I am working on
a database and want to backup the file at the office and
restore it at home and vice versa. I have used the backup
utility in windows accessories and backed up the file to
the disc and then restored it to the other computer. I
tried not overwriting the existing file thinking I would
have an old version and a new version no the computer. I
could not find the new file (tried find files and folders)
so I restored again and chose to overwrite the existing
file. When I open the file it is not the latest file
because there are errors that I have corrected on the
other computer.
Thanks,
Walter

It's not necessary to use the backup software. Just compact the
database and carry a copy of the .mdb file back and forth on disk. If
it doesn't fit on a diskette, use WinZIP or file compression to make
it smaller.

You'll need to keep track of versioning yourself, perhaps with
different folders or filenames.
