Backup and Restore Project Server

Hi,
The machine on which my project server was installed has stopped functioning
after i loaded some patches.Mine is a live server and i have SQL backup. How
do i restore my Project Server. Any documentation available for the same

I also want to know what is the best method to take backup of Project Server
such that even if something stops functioning i should be able to restore my
Project Server ASAP.
This is really urgent any help will be appreciated
