Lynn,
Unlike macros, formulas in custom fields are unique to the containing
Project file (i.e. they don't reside in the Global file). You can "back
up" your formulas by saving the file as a template but if you want to
use those same formulas in another new project file, you will need to
copy and paste, unless you can adapt the template directly for you new
project.
