Backup Outlook 2007 Tasks?

I backup my .pst file daily, but the last time I tried to load the saved
file, it did not appear as though my Tasks were included in the .pst file,
and it seems as though I have lost all of my tasks. Can anyone confirm this
and let me know how I can backup my Tasks? Thanks.

Not correct. Tasks are included in the same pst-file.
Verify that you used proper backup and restore methods.
